PMF - Slide 1
Primary Myelofibrosis is a chronic disorder of the bone marrow in which scarring of the marrow interferes with normal blood cell production. As a result, both young and mature cells are seen with dysplastic features such as an abnormal nucleus and reduced granulation. The red series is also affected, leading to tear drop cells, stomatocytes and erythrocytes of varying size.
