CLL - Slide 3
A chronic lymphocytic leukaemia with a peculiar morphology in which the cytoplasm is tapered on two sides. The morphology resembles that of a marginal zone lymphoma (spindle shaped). However, in this case it is notable that the cells all point in the same direction, which makes it likely that the distortion is a smear artifact. Immunophenotyping fits CLL.
