Very extensive Chronic Lymphatic Leukemia with a leukocyte count as high as
500⋅109/L
. Many cells are smudged. A striking feature of this case is hypogammaglobulinemia which also makes the patient more prone to infections. One to several small white inclusions can be seen in the various lymphocytes; these are precipitated immunoglobulins. Due to lagging functional antibody production, the patient is treated with IVIG.
