Burkitt Lymphoma - Slide 1
A Burkitt lymphoma with an impressive collection of (centro)blastary lymphocytes. FISH revealed MYC translocation in 80-100% of the tumor cells in the bone marrow. Also, approximately all cells were Ki67 positive (proliferation factor). The combination of MYC translocation and high levels of Ki67 presence are characteristic of an aggressive Burkitt lymphoma.
