CAR-T - Slide 1
This specimen shows a huge amount of plasmacytoid cells. These are most likely the CAR-T cells (Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-cell) that had been administered to the patient just before the infusion. That they are the patient's own lymphocytes is less likely because three days before the infusion there was lymphodepletion with a course of fludarabine/cyclophosphamide.
