ATLL - Slide 1
Atypical lymphocytes with a sagging and folded nucleus from a patient with a confirmed HTLV-1 infection (Human T-cel Leukemia Virus). This virus can result in an Adult T-cell Leukemia/Lymphoma (ATLL) and may be accompanied by hypercalcemia, likely related to the production of parathyroid-hormone related peptide (PTH-rP) by the aberrant lymphocytes.
