Multiple myeloma (formerly Kahler's disease) is a malignant proliferation of immune globulin-producing plasma cells (usually IgG). This patient had a monoclonal IgA production of 25 g/L. Due to the high concentration of protein, pseudo-agglutination can be seen in the slide.
