Follicular lymphoma (FL) is one of the most common non-hodgkin lymphomas in Europe. The diagnosis is made on the basis of histology of a lymph node biopsy, appropriate immunophenotyping and morphology. The characteristic morphology of small lymphocytes with a cleaved/split nucleus is clearly present here.
