Preparation of a patient with Clostridium Perfringens sepsis. Because of the violent image with (presumably) high concentrations of alpha-toxin and lipids at liver construction, the preparation is downright 'dirty'. When looked at closely, 'ghost cells' can be seen in the preparation. See attached article for more background.
