Cabot Rings
A ring of Cabot is a thin, thread-like structure in an erythrocyte in the shape of a ring or the number 8. This inclusion is probably a remnant of the spindle figure formed during cell division. Finding these rings is rare and their presence indicates improper/overloaded erythropoiesis.
