CaOx - Rosettes
Synonyms: Rosettes, CaC₂O₄-H₂O
A very rare form involves a club-shaped morphology, with dimensions similar to those of erythrocytes. Remarkably, these crystals do not occur in isolation, but clump together to form characteristic rosette-like structures. The crystals are soluble in 30% hydrochloric acid, but insoluble in both 30% acetic acid and 10% potassium hydroxide.
