Large Granular Lymphocyte
Large Granular Lymphocytes are large, sometimes reactive-looking lymphocytes with a number of thick granules in the cytoplasm. These are NK or T cells that normally make up about 5-10% of all lymphocytes. Finding more than 20% LGL cells for an extended period of time (~6 months) is abnormal.
