Eosinophilic Myelocyte
The eosinophilic myelocyte has a round or oval nucleus lying eccentrically. The granules in the cytoplasm are clearly light purple/pink in color. Unlike the neutrophilic myelocyte, few to no basophilic granules are present. During a cell count, usually there is no distinction being made between basophilic, eosinophilic or neutrophilic precursors.
